Hollow City #2 : Review #3

3 weeks ago I finally got round to reading Hollow City by Ransom Riggs, This is the second book to the Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children series!

Hollow City by Ransom Riggs

Summary: "This second novel begins in 1940, immediately after the first book ended. Having escaped Miss Peregrine's island by the skin of their teeth, Jacob and his new friends must journey to London, the peculiar capital of the world. Along the way, they encounter new allies, a menagerie of peculiar animals, and other unexpected surprises.
Complete with dozens of newly discovered (and thoroughly mesmerizing) vintage photographs, this new adventure will delight readers of all ages."

This book was just completely sucks you in, I was constantly reading it and once It ended I was like WHAT? Surely I haven't read it that quick and that cliffhanger? Ransom please, stop with these cliffhangers my heart cant take it! It was packed with the unusual pictures just like the first which is very interesting! The book had me from the first page, It was never slow or boring like some books can be it was completely jam packed all the time which I love! This is a book series in which I will never get bored with, it is honestly so exciting the whole time you read it! Jacob's character development is also really lovely to see, you see him evolve as a peculiar and be more accepted by some of the peculiars. I love all the chatacyers they are all so different but connected as a family. This series is not to be missed, if you're looking for a book series which is jam packed and beautifully written then this is the series for you! I am also very excited for the miss peregrine film which is set to be out next year, it's currently in the filming process! How exciting???
I am so excited and very impatient with waiting for the release of the third book in the series 'Library of souls' which is set to be released 22nd September of this year!!

Big love to Ransom Riggs! I hope you all check out this series it's brilliant!
