Booktube-A-Thon 2018

Hello,

It's been a while again, I know.  Summer is here and so am I!

I've never actually taken part in booktube-a-thon, I see it happen each year and just watch from a distance and I am terrified of trying to achieve reading 7 books In an entire week. This year I am going for it, I've cleared my week, I am doing nothing but reading.

my tbr pile

I kind of feel very excited to participate but there is also the pressure of wanting to complete this challenge.

Here are the challengers:
1/ Let a coin toss decide your first read.

2/ Read a book about something you want to do.
3/ Read and watch a book to movie adaptation.
5/ Read a book while wearing the same hat the whole time.
4/ Read a book with green on the cover. 6/ Read a book with a beautiful spine.
7/ Read seven books.

1. Let a coin toss decide your first read: Big Little Lies

I'm excited to read this, I've heard such good things about it! My friend Abi has been recommending me this book for ages. At least if I read this then I can give the TV show a watch!

2/ Read a book about something you want to do: Notes on a nervous planet
I spent ages trying to find a book to do with 'something i want to do' and I came to the conclusion that i want to calm my anxiety and this book will be perfect for that. Matt always has a way with words, he's a safety blanket for me. This book will talk about and explore anxiety!

3. Read and watch a book to movie adaptation: The book thief

I've had so many good things and hype around this book back when I joined book blogging, I even bought it back when I started with the intention of reading it. Long story short, I never read it. Now is my chance to understand the hype and also indulge in the movie.

5/.Read a book while wearing the same hat the whole time: The Sailor who fell from Grace with the Sea
I thought I would choose this book to read while wearing the same hat the entire time as this book is quite short and wont need me to be wearing a hat indoors for hours on end. I had this book recommended to me by a friend, he praised it and told me it has a chilling ending. Therefore, I am excited to read it.

4. Read a book with green on the cover: Tales of the Peculiar

Yes! I am finally getting around to reading this beauty. It's been over a year since it was released and I have had it sitting on my shelf for sometime, University just gets in the way of my reading time especially for those books I'm super hyped for. I am SO happy to be able to dig back into this.

6. Read a book with a beautiful spine: The Sun is also a Star

I mean, just look at the whole artwork in general. Isn't it such a pretty design?
I knew instantly I would be going to this book when I saw the challenge.
I loved 'everything, everything' by Nicola Yoon, so I am looking forward to reading this!

7. Read seven books: Landline

Lastly, I had to choose another book in order to complete the challenge of read 7 books. I chose landline by Rainbow Rowell as I love her writing and LOVED fangirl and Eleanor & Park but haven't gotten around to reading this yet. It has been sat on my shelf for WAY too long.

Overall, I am so excited to take part in booktube-a-thon and I'm looking forward to cracking on and reading some books that have been on my shelf for way too long i'm ashamed.
